Thanksgiving Flying

What's Thanksgiving without a little flying? It was a sunny, clear, beautiful day so CK Sr. and CK moved the Baron over from the Ocala Airport to the Farm and then gave Cub trips to those who wanted a ride. The Cub trips happened after Thanksgiving lunch, including Chandler's first Cub ride! Sofia wanted to go up so badly that she started to cry when Grandpa, Jay and Chandler loaded up and took off. She was next and she wanted to do it herself, but after getting strapped in she had that look of "I'm not so sure about this...." so I went with her and she had a fun (nearly sleep-inducing time).

On the side of Grandpa's runway waiting for the Baron to arrive (I took pictures while he came in)

Looking for grasshoppers - we never could catch one.

Here comes the Baron over the wires!

Watching the Baron land and taxi - I love the look on her face (wonder if she has flying in her genes.....:-)

All set to go up!

Here we are on take-off

In the evening CK and I went up and flew over Orange Lake at sunset - there is just nothing more beautiful....
