Mimi came out to visit early and ended up decorating our house for Christmas (which is becoming a bit of a tradition, actually!) However, this year, Mimi had a big helper - little elf Sofia! Sofia loved helping Mimi, mainly because it meant she got to climb our ladder and touch everything. She also really liked to help hang the ornaments, but I'm not sure how helpful she was! She did fall in love with a glittery train and airplane ornament that Mimi bought and would remove them, carry them around, and play with them, but otherwise she left the ornaments alone for the most part. She did fall in love with a "Joy" ornament that lights up, and wanted to touch it every morning. She would ask that all of our Christmas lights be one throughout the day, which really makes the house sparkle and it's great to see her enjoy it.

Touching the "Joy" ornament that lights up. Every morning, as soon as Mimi would arrive downstairs, Sofia would ask her to turn on the Christmas tree lights and then would want to touch this particular ornament, which Mimi taught her spells "J-O-Y, Mommy!"
