We landed in Reidsville, Georgia, on Friday afternoon and were picked up by CK's cousin Joel and his daughter Anja. We soon arrived at CK's Aunt Lila and Uncle Paul's house with our many bags, Sofia and ready to enjoy the Lee Family Reunion. Sofia's Grandpa and Grandma arrived shortly after dinner and everyone was there by late that night (we missed Aunt Cynthia, Uncle Jay and Cousin Chandler's arrival late that night). We had beautiful weather the next day and Sofia and I walked down to the pond.
Along the way Sofia had to stop and pick every dandelion and try to blow off the seeds (she's still pretty terrible at blowing air through her lips, so she ends up pulling the seeds off with her fingers). She also stopped at every ant mound and would pick up a few pieces of sand and call them her "dewberries." I'm not entirely sure where this comes from, but she also picks "dewberries" for our birds at home. Luckily there never seemed to be ants when she'd do her dewberry picking. We walked onto the dock and enjoyed the view and then walked around the pond, stopping at each ant mound, of course.
