Hunting for Easter Eggs!

After our big Easter meal, Sofia and Chandler hunted for Easter eggs that Anja and Caitlin had hid in Lila's front and back yards. We started in the front yard and Sofia found her first egg in Lila's plants, and immediately tried to open it up to see what candy was inside, however, it was the real egg the girls dyed the night before! Even though she knew each egg she found was real, she would look closely at each one to see if it had a seam that could open and reveal candy! She did a good job, but was pretty well done with the hunt by the time we'd found all the eggs in the front yard. Even at that, she needed a lot of 'help' locating the eggs and wanted to play in the wisteria bush more than hunt for eggs. Maybe next year she'll be more focused on the hunt!

Finding another egg!

Searching high and low! The girls did a great job hiding them so it was pretty easy for the kids, but not too easy.
