After hanging out at Twirl for some much-needed play time, we visited Kit Carson's house which was very interesting. We then headed for the Rio Grande Gorge, which was absolutely breathtaking!! It was also terrifying to walk over the bridge and look down into the huge void! We drove back to Santa Fe on the highway, and gave Sofia two train sticker books and a stuffed iguana (she calls it "lizard") at strategic times during the 70 mile trip.
