Leaving Santa Fe

On Wednesday June 10th we headed home after the most wonderful, interesting and relaxing vacation we've had since our honeymoon. The afternoon before leaving, Sofia visited all of her 'favorites' of the casita - the mirror, the ceramic piggy, her rock collection, her pine cones, and the lavender growing out front. On the morning we left we awoke to a complete down pour which was ironic given that we had nine days of perfect weather! We nearly decided to wait until the following morning to return to Texas when the skies cleared during what was our final breakfast at Cafe Pasqual's. CK and Sofia had the wonderful whole wheat pancakes and I tried one of their omelets. Delicious! After breakfast, we packed up the plane, said goodbye to Santa Fe from the air and headed home.

Snacks after that long hike to Ghost Town!

Sofia's favorite mirror - she loved opening and closing the doors, and smiling at herself
