Spring Break 2018, Day 8

We were able to spend a full day with Grandpa and Grandma and had a great time with them! The girls played on the Gator and drove over to the hay roles to jump around and make up stories and then we decided to go to lunch. CK and Connie wanted to take us to the St. John River to a restaurant in Palatka. We ended up taking Connie's car and CK's truck and along the way the truck over-heated and we had to stop in a nearby grocery store parking lot. The guys figured out how to fix it, but it needed time to cool off, so we decided to all pile into Connie's car and go eat lunch first. Sofia had to sit in the far back, which is essentially a trunk, but she loved it. We went to Corky Bell's Seafood at Gator Landing. We ended up sitting outside on the patio overlooking the river. It was a great view and the food was really yummy. After eating, we walked down the pier and looked out over the river and took pictures.

We returned to the truck, the guys fixed it very quickly and we were soon on our way back to the farm. Once on the farm, CK took Olivia and then me on a Cub ride and Grandpa took the girls individually on his old tractor. Of course, the girls drove like maniacs on the Gator around the farm. They have so much fun together and love driving around. Sofia drives while Olivia sits on her knees in the back. They love it and it is a great division of fun on the Gator!

The next morning, we had breakfast and then headed on toward home. It was such a fun day and a great week!
