Spring Break 2018, Day 4

We had another fun and relaxing day at FBV! I woke up first and threw on my swimsuit and a cover-up before walking to the clubhouse to grab a cup of coffee for myself and one for CK. The girls woke up a little bit later and we all had toast or cereal before it was officially time to hit the beach! Olivia asked if I sleep in my swimsuit, since it's all she's seen me in other than when we eat dinner!

Charlie and his parents rented a car for the day and drove up to the top of the island for lunch and a hike, so the girls played in the sand, snorkeled and asked us to swim with them approximately every 10 minutes. We both swam with them at different times and CK built a really cool sand castle with the girls, "just like in Florida." It was a highlight of the girls' to build such a cool sand castle over the summer so it was fun that they were able to recreate it with their Papa. By 5pm or so we were all sort of done with being in the ocean or being wet, so we took nice hot showers and got dressed. We met in our living area and played several fun rounds of Uno.

We ended up playing Uno until it was time to walk up to the clubhouse for appetizers and then dinner. It ended up being a nice night, although was a little chilly. We hung out with Lisa, Chip, Brian and Paula after dinner and sat by the fire on the beach and talked until around 10pm. While we chatted, the three kids hunted for frogs and lizards together. Of course, Sofia had to name them all and she would carry one around for a bit before gently setting it down somewhere "safe". After such a long and fun day, the girls fell straight to sleep!
