Spring Break 2018, Day 5

Yet another day relaxing on the beach! I walked to the far end of the bay and took some pictures of FBV and area. It is so quiet and peaceful and was a nice walk. Once everyone was awake, we had a quick breakfast and the girls were in the water! They have spent some much time in the ocean and have also gone in the water with their regular clothes on, that I've had to wash a lot of their clothes in the sink and hang them to dry overnight in our rooms with the window air conditioning running. The first night I rinsed out all of our swimsuits and hung them on the outdoor chairs. By the next morning the swimsuits were just as wet as they were the night before since it is so humid out!

After lunch Sofia decided to try the paddle board and was actually very good and stable on it from the beginning. She really enjoyed it and paddled herself around the bay while Olivia and CK took another one out and joined her. CK sat on the paddle board while Olivia worked at paddling him around with Sofia. It was super cute! They had so much fun paddling around and it was impressive how good they both were from the moment they got on them!

By late afternoon, Olivia was waterlogged and took a hot shower, changed into her dress and brought out her books to read next to me while I sat in the sun and read my book. Of course, when she wants to read it means she wants to read out loud to me and show me each page of pictures, which is super cute. By 6:30pm when it was time for appetizers, we were all pretty hungry. We headed up to the main area and enjoyed conch fritters while watching the sunset. Both girls liked them and Sofia really ate them up. The sunset seems to get more impressive the longer one stays at FBV! For dinner we had fish and cheese broccoli which was delicious! There was also an upside down pineapple cake that was a big hit! It was such a fun and relaxing day!
