On Saturday December 4th, we headed out to buy our Christmas tree. We went to our local nursery, Blooming Colors since we've always been happy with their trees in the past (and they deliver the tree already in your tree stand). We immediately found a beautiful tree that we agreed would look great in our living room. It arrived later that afternoon, and Sofia was beside herself for it to be delivered! Once in our house, we set to adding lights and decorating it with our (ok, my) many "Joy" ornaments (we do now have some non-Joy ornaments. Sofia loved going through the ornaments and picked out the frogs that we bought last year. Somehow, they haven't stayed on the tree for long since "someone" takes them down and plays with them....
It was fun to decorate and now our house feels very Christmasy!

Our stockings are ready for Santa's arrival. The stocking on the left is CK's and the one on the right is Sofia's - both were made by Mimi and works of art really!
