Weekend in Austin

While Sofia spend the weekend with CK's cousin and her family (see next post), CK and I flew to Austin to spend some time together without a three year old. We first went to Fredericksburg, TX and spend a really fun afternoon walking around and having a very tasty dinner. The next day, after breakfast at the Airport Diner, we flew to Lakeway, TX, which is about 20 minutes from Austin. We met up with some friends who have a lake house there and spent the rest of the weekend with them. First, we went to the Univ of Texas football game, which was quite an experience! There are some serious fans for the Longhorns and the put on a great show (the football game and the halftime show). Unfortunately, they lost but it sure was a fun day! We slept in and headed back home on Sunday.
