We headed for the fairway and started off with the funnel cake and Bahareh won the prize when she bypassed the powdered sugar and went with custard, chocolate syrup and whipped cream topping! After we were all stuffed on funnel cake, CK went "fishing" with Sofia to win "Little Green Beup Buep." Sofia then rode the Merry Go Round with her Papa and then wanted to ride the train (no surprise there) and the helicopter, but only wanted to ride with Miss Bahareh! It was adorable to watch them and Sofia waved wildly to the rest of us with each pass. Sofia and Bahareh also rode on this crazy spinning barn, which I took a video of and she loved! I swear our gal is fearless! Although she loved all the rides, by far Sofia's favorite event was what she calls "the rocket" which was the crazy man who gets shot from a canon! We happened across it and were very close when the "rocket" went off! Sofia was so excited and talked about it every five minutes after (and still mentions it along with all the rides at the fair).
We headed to the rodeo just before it started and had great seats - the very front row! It was so close that every time a horse was ridden by we were hit by little dirt balls! We watched the bronc riding and calf roping and the beauty queen crowning, but decided to leave during the singing competition since it was already 9pm. It was so much fun and Sofia enjoyed it, although she was still talking about the rides and the "rocket."
