Around Mimi's House

We spent a lot of time lounging around Mimi's house, which was great fun. Of course, Sofia never had a dull moment - here are a few of the things that occupied her time at Mimi and Grandpa Joe's house:

She loved vIsiting the fish every morning, especially to see what "Rosie" the fish was up to. Luckily Rosie is very friendly (ie, likes to beg for food at every opportunity) so she would always appear once she saw Sofia.


Feeding the fish - Mimi would hand Sofia the fish pellets for her to throw into the pond


Then she would toss them to the fish (trying to feed Rosie mainly!)


Sofia loved to admire (and pick) Mimi's incredibly tomatoes! We never had such a lovely crop at our house, so Sofia had a field day!


Swimming in the hot tub - Sofia loved to splish splash around in the afternoon (if Mommy wasn't too lazy to take her for a dip). We even went in the fish pond, but never made it beyond the steps (thankfully). I wasn't such a fan of swimming with the fish as Sofia was.


Post swim - I love this picture because it looks like she's posing, but I actually just snapped it randomly.


Sofia loved to drive her car around the patio, even though her knees hardly fit inside anymore!


Visiting Hootie - Sofia loved checking up on the turtle, especially during meal time!

Sitting on the elephant - She loved hanging out on top of the elephant and pointed out his ears, eyes, etc. This is a great picture of Sofia with Mimi and Grandpa Joe!
