Returning to Dallas

On Monday we said goodbye to the Thain family (after trying to convince them to visit us in Texas), as well as Cynthia, Jay and Connie and returned home. We can't imagine how much baby Lee Mathis will change by the time we see them all again.

Luckily we had a tail wind and made it back to Addison in just over 31/2 hours and ended up not stopping for any breaks. It went by quickly, probably because Sofia took a long nap so it was a little like old times and I was able to read while CK flew.

Sofia in the past day or two has started calling me "Mommy" instead of Mama, which is absolutely adorable. She almost seems to be testing it out because she'll say it several times to watch my reaction.

Family picture before leaving the Thain house. Ruel actually took our Christmas picture last year (the one of the three of us beside the Baron), since we visited them about a year ago. It's hard to believe how much Sofia has changed since then.

Sofia fell asleep on take-off and slept for nearly two hours....
