The Easter Bunny Arrives!

On Sunday morning I got up after hearing Olivia around 7:15am. Surprisingly Sofia came down around 7:30am (she usually sleeps in a bit longer on the weekend). I put together both Easter baskets the night before and put them on the coffee table in the living room, but after both girls were up with no one else awake, I decided to hide the baskets in the office until CK and his parents were up and could watch the girls with their baskets. Once everyone was downstairs I sent the girls into the kitchen so I could get their baskets back into the living room. We called them in and they were drawn to each other's baskets, of course. We redirected the girls to their baskets and they both went to work going through their goodies. Sofia was super excited to get the books "Ice Age" and "Charlotte's Web" and pencils, as well as her chocolate bunny! Olivia, on the other hand, was perfectly satisfied with her bunny fruit treats and once they were open she sat down and ate them. She was done going through her goodies. After they had gone through their goodies, Grandma had a little cute purse full of goodies for each of them! Sofia's goodies included the movie "Sofia the First" which she was super excited to watch with her Grandma that night! We'd actually seen the last 15 minutes of "Sofia the First" a few months ago and have been meaning to watch it again but kept forgetting. So, she was super excited to have it and watch it.

After both girls were satisfied going through their new Easter goodies, we got ready for Meeting and for our guests who would be coming over for lunch together. We were actually able to get a few good pictures too! What a great start to Easter!
