Happy Father's Day!!

For Father's Day we decided to celebrate CK after Meeting with a homemade breakfast and a relaxing day. We'd originally planned to go to the lake for the weekend but it ended up being a rainy and crumby few days, so we decided to stay at home and relax. On Father's Day we went to Meeting and then headed home after and the girls made biscuits, bacon and scrambled eggs. The girls did most of the actual work and I supervised and helped them figure out the biscuit recipe. It went smoothly other than Olivia touching the bacon grease screen and burning her finger pretty badly. Poor thing!

We enjoyed the delicious Father's Day brunch and then the girls gave CK the cards they made for their Papa and gave him their gift, which was a t-shirt that reads "I'm sorry for what I said while I was docking the boat" which is the perfect for CK to wear every day at the lake, or at least when he's trying to dock the boat with us on it! He loved his cards that the girls made him and they were both super cute and sweet. After brunch, cards and his gift, we relaxed at home and he took a well-deserved Father's Day nap.
