Flying to Florida

On Sunday April 5th, we flew to Florida. I ran my 1/2 marathon that morning then showered quickly and met CK and Sofia at the airport for the flight to Sofia's Grandma and Grandpa's farm. Sofia loves looking out the window on take-off and watching all the cars on the road. She also points out clouds and calls the smaller ones "baby cloud" and the bigger ones "mommy cloud." When she wasn't looking out the window at clouds, we snacked on strawberries and yogurt pretzels, read her books and my magazines and hung out. She also took a good nap curled up in my lap.

Once in Florida Sofia was very excited to see her Grandma and Grandpa, although she's really a Grandpa gal now! She wanted to be with Grandpa everywhere he went and would call out "Grandpa, Grandpa, Grandpa" whenever she woke from her nap, wanted something or even while walking around the house while he was at work! On Monday he played with Jesse, who is 2 months younger. They had a great time snacking on Cherios together, playing with toys and played outside together.

Grandpa!! Waiting for Grandpa to come home for lunch! Sofia would then run to the garage to greet her Grandpa!
