4th of July!!

We spent our first Texas 4th of July with CK's cousin Tanya, her husband Jason, and kids Adam, Eric and Jessica. We had hamburgers and potato salad followed by some sort of gooey and yummy chocolate-caramel bar and ice cream! Yum! We watched the Flower Mound fireworks from Tanya and Jason's backyard which provided the perfect view without the noise. Sofia enjoyed them and was very interested in all the lights (although tired). One year ago.....it's hard to believe that one year ago we were enjoying the DC fireworks from the rooftop of CK's building, knowing Sofia (although I think she was officially "Ava" then, would arrive soon). Here is a picture from the 4th:
