or at the National Aquarium. We visited the fish at the National Aquarium, which is located in the basement of the Commerce Department (long story for why it was established here). It was an interesting visit and the aquarium is nice, although rather small. Sofia and Grayden enjoyed looking at all the colorful fish and we even made it in time to watch them feed the paranahs (Sofia was asleep!). I didn't use a flash, so the pictures aren't great, but here they are!
