Grandma Lee's Visit

When Grandma Lee wasn't cleaning out our pantry or watching Sofia while CK and I enjoyed a wonderful evening out, we had fun going to the zoo, taking long walks, and playing at home. Here are a few more pictures from Grandma Lee's visit (See Sofia at 8 weeks post below for more pics).

Sofia and Annalise

On Sunday Dave and Karina came over for dinner with their 4 month old, Annalise. Sofia and Annalise were a bit perplexed by the "other" baby in the chair, but we think they are off to a good start of being friends as they grow up!

Sofia at 8 weeks

Sofia is now 8 weeks old and growing so quickly! She weighed 12.1 pounds on her 8 week birthday on 21 September and, according to CK, has her "Michelin Man" suit on (also known as rolls of fat on her legs!).

Last week Grandma Lee visited and we had a lot of fun going for walks, lunching, visiting CK at work, going to the zoo, coffee breaks, running errands, etc. Sofia also hit a lot of milestones during Grandma Lee's visit, including responsive smiling (and not just at gas!), rolling over on her side from her back (yet to be repeated since Grandma Lee went home), and lots of 'talking' and cooing! She's a happy baby, particularly in the morning after breakfast and before her first nap. Thanks to my MoTHs (Moms on The Hill) friends, I've figured out how to blog so that I can capture some of the adventures we have. Hope you all enjoy!
