Yesterday Olivia and I went with our neighbor and friend, Stacy and Antonio to the pumpkin patch. We wanted to go to the patch near us, but it doesn't open during the week until 3pm, so we drove up to Flower Mound to a huge patch that I've last been to when Sofia was around Olivia's age. It's gotten even bigger and was full of toddlers and pre-school groups. Once we arrived, Olivia and Antonio went straight for the inflatable slide. After that, we took the hayride and then walked through the pumpkin patch. The kids wanted to revisit the bounce houses but they were so crowded that we decided to go to the pumpkin patch next door that was virtually empty. Plus, that patch had pony rides, a mini train ride and and other fun things.
Once over at the other patch, we had it to ourselves and the kids took the train ride first, which they both loved. Then, we headed to ride the "neighs" which Olivia was very excited for! They rode twice and loved it! After, we headed to the bounce house where the kids had it to themselves. They bounced and bounced and had the best time. It was bumping up to lunch and nap time so we headed home. Once we arrived at the house, Olivia climbed into her highchair and said "I want to eat"! After lunch, she took a great nap! I plan to go to the local patch with both girls and hopefully CK, if we can figure out a good weekend to go.
