Fun Day with Grandma

On Sunday, after Meeting, we took a few family pictures that turned out pretty cute! I feel like I seldom consider taking photos of all four of us and always take pictures of the girls by themselves or with CK, so it's always nice to have a family picture. The picture of the girls with their Grandparents turned out so cute too! Sunday afternoon was full of Cub rides, which Olivia loves, and tractor rides! Buddy loved taking a long walk down the runway and both girls had fun playing on the farm.

On Monday, our last full day in Florida, we spent the day with Grandma. After breakfast, the four of us went to see the 10:30am showing of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, which Sofia has seen before but was new for the rest of us. The movie was super cute, although pretty odd. The girls loved it and we all enjoyed our popcorn and to sit in the cool of the movie theater! After the movie, we went to lunch at Panera which is actually one of my favorites! They have a great Greek salad and vegetable soup. We all enjoyed our lunch and then all picked out something sweet after our lunch, and Connie and I had coffee. So yummy and just what we needed!

After lunch, we headed over to Monkey Business which is an indoor play area that Connie has been to before with Keara's kids and it turned out to be a perfect place for Sofia and Olivia to burn off some energy. We ended up being there for 11/2 hours and the girls absolutely loved it. They played together the whole time and ended up finding two little friends that got involved in their dragon story. They have great imaginations and love to play together. We turned to the house so Grandma and Sofia could work on the felt Star Wars characters. Sofia bought a Star Wars felted character set that she wanted to make, so I told her to bring it with us to Florida and Grandma could help her. She ended up making four of the characters and really took to it. Maybe she has some sewing genes in her after all!

That night, CK and I actually went on a date night to Mark's Prime, a nice steak house in downtown Ocala. We've actually went once before for CK's 40th birthday, and it was great to be back and have a quiet night together. The girls had pizza -their favorite- with their Grandparents and got to watch something on Grandpa's computer. So, a fun night was had by all. We returned to the house and hung out for a while before going to bed before our flight back to Texas the next day. Such a fun trip!
