After pictures, we quickly ate pizza before our neighbors Stacy, Marco and their "tiger" Antonio came over to go trick-or-treating. We started off going to Todd and Dana's house - the only house in our neighborhood to decorate for Halloween. Sofia and their 10-year old son, Brandon, are great friends and they play very well together. Once we arrived, Brandon joined us as we went down the street so Todd and Dana could hand out candy to anyone else who came by their house. It was so much fun visiting all the neighbors and chatting with them (and getting tons of candy). Plus, it was still light enough that we could get some decent pictures. We ran into Talia, who lives at the end of the block and she joined in our group of trick-or-treaters.
After we finished in our neighborhood, we crossed the street to the neighborhood near us that is far bigger and more crowded with trick-or-treaters. It was great! There were a ton of kids out, a lot of the houses were decorated and some even had fog machines and people dressed up outside. The kids loved it! Sofia and Brandon raced ahead to each house while Antonio hung back with Olivia, who was either in her stroller sucking her thumb or being carried by Grandma. After the first few houses, she was pretty well done. Sofia loved it all and would have continued all night if we'd let her! Needless to say, they all got way too much candy and we headed home before everyone was too exhausted and cold. What a fun night!
