Last Day of School

We arrived home from Florida very late Tuesday night, but Wednesday June 1st was Sofia's very last day of school at Spanish Schoolhouse and I wanted to be sure she attended so she could say goodbye to her teachers and friends. Since it was the last day, she was able to wear her favorite outfit to school instead of her uniform, and she picked her white dress. She now has four or five "favorites" and they are all long thin dresses, which are perfect for summer. Getting ready, she asked to have pig tails, which she hasn't worn in ages! They look so cute on her and I love when she wants them. So, off we headed to her very last day of school (we were even on time for the first time probably since the first day). She loves Ms. Lynn, who is the front desk lady who welcomes us every morning and says goodbye every afternoon. She also adores her teacher, Ms. Christina and always gives her a big hug when she arrives to class. Ms. Fernanda is also a favorite (she is in the common room in the morning to ensure all the kids get to their class), but I didn't get a picture of them together. I know Sofia will miss her teachers and friends, even though it seems school will be starting in no time (the end of August). What a great year Sofia had and she absolutely loves going to school and brings home fun projects and work.
