Having Fun with Friends

On Saturday we headed to the Discovery Center, which is basically a three story kid's make-believe play area complete with a kid-friendly train, boat, and crane, as well as a tea party area, dress up section, and science discovery section. It's really an amazing place and the kids had a blast, needless to say! Grayden and Sofia played together almost the entire time and it was so cute to watch them play tea party together. Sofia got dressed up and set out all the plates, saucers and cups while Grayden served. It was adorable!

On Sunday, before our flight home, we headed to New Orleans to Storyland where the kids ran around on the storybook characters who are set up there. A small amusement park is set up behind Storyland, and we intended to ride the merry-go-round before heading to the airport, however, it was closed. Instead, Grayden and Sofia flew their own airplane. After, we headed to the airport, said our goodbyes and Sofia and I flew home.

Green Beup Beup with Sofia's souvenir around his neck. She slept with a similar travel pillow at Alice's every night and when we saw one in the airport she had to have one! Hopefully she doesn't decide to sleep on it every night at home, but it was great in the plane - she slept the entire flight!
