We spent last weekend and this weekend at the lake, our first real visit since we were at the lake at Christmas. Although its May, our weather has been cool and wet so the lake is not comfortable enough to go in yet. Sofia has jumped in both weekends, and after the initial shock of the cold, she has said that it feels fine, but it is very cold to me. It's so great to be back at the lake and we are all very excited for some warm, sunny weather and fun on the boat and jet skis. CK and the girls spend half of Saturday cleaning the boat and getting it ready to go out on. After they were done, we took it out for a joyride. We drove down the lake a bit and then stopped so the girls could swim, although Olivia chickened out. I didn't blame her. I wouldn't be swimming either. Sofia jumped in and enjoyed swimming around for a bit before we loaded back into the boat and headed back to the house. We ended up eating at a new authentic Mexican restaurant that was delicious! I had the stuffed avocado, which was awesome! We are all excited for more weekends at the lake, especially this summer!
