Pink Pirates End of Season Party

Yesterday the girls and I went to the Pink Pirates End of Season party at Tokyo Samurai. CK wasn't able to make it since he was in Florida for a flight training course. The lunch started at 1pm, which is usually when Olivia takes her nap, but I figured she would be totally entertained by the girls. The adults sat at one grill area while the soccer team, Olivia's brother, Brandon, and Emily's brother, David, sat at the grill behind us. The chefs arrived and we ended up having the funny chef, while the girls had the more serious chef, but they still had a great time and giggled through the whole meal. Olivia was so tired that she couldn't sit still so she started out by getting on and off my lap and walking around to visit with the adults and then the soccer girls. Once our food arrived, she was good at sitting on my lap and eating my lunch with me. The hibachi was great as usual and it was great to be with the soccer parents again after missing a few weeks because of Sofia's collarbone.

After we finished eating, Coach Kevin and Coach Jeff presented the trophies to each girl and a little gift bag that included a packet of M&Ms, glitter hair spray and an adorable pink cape with the "P" and each girl's name on the back. It is so cute! I took the photos and got a cute one of all the girls in their capes. It was so fun to see everyone and I love how the girls are together. We said goodbye and thanked Coach Kevin and Coach Jeff for everything and headed home. It was 3:30pm by then, so I figured Olivia would go without a nap and go to bed early, which worked out perfectly. Such a fun end of the season party and we look forward to next season and hope to play a lot more and not have any broken bones!
