Today both girls went to see our pediatric dentist, Dr. Simpson, who was referred to us through Tex, who has known Dr. Simpson from growing up together. Sofia has seen Dr. Simpson several times, but this would be Olivia's first visit. The girls rode on the stagecoach and horse a few times while we waited - they both loved it, of course. Soon, we were heading back for their check-ups and cleaning. Sofia went first and got her teeth cleaned and the hygienist showed me her loose bottom tooth and the permanent tooth that is already coming in behind it! I couldn't believe it! She suggested Sofia wiggle it as much as she can every day so her permanent tooth can finally come in.
Next it was Olivia's turn and she was a champ. She layed on the dental chair and opened her mouth like a pro while the hygienist counted and then lightly cleaned her little teeth. The hygienist and dentist mentioned that Olivia already has her three-year old molars. I knew she had a mouthful of teeth but never can remember what order they arrive, but am sort of thankful those are behind us.
After both girls were done, Dr. Simpson looked at their teeth individually and said they looked good. He also said the same thing about getting Sofia's loose tooth out. So, I guess we'll start wiggling it like crazy.

Wiggling a loose tooth is fun! It's exciting to see a permanent tooth take its place, right? I'm sure Dr. Simpson didn't have a hard time in checking Sophie's teeth for the first time. She looks so relaxed and having fun while at the dentist's chair! Hehe! Hope you'll update me when the wiggling tooth is already removed. Thanks! :)

Great job by the girls. Olivia handled for first visit with the dentist like a pro. Not sure if Sofia helped to ease her through it. First visits can be very stressful, but this one seemed to go along very smoothly.
