Meeting Jackson

We arrived in Atlanta around 7pm Friday evening and drove into the city to Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Jay's house so we could meet little baby Jackson. Sofia was so happy to see Chandler, Jillian and Grandma and the kids immediately started playing. We ate a quick dinner at the house and said our hellos and held the baby before we headed to our hotel for the night. Sofia decided to spend the night with Grandma.

Throughout the weekend visit, both Sofia and especially Olivia kept asking to hold the baby. Olivia would hold out her hands and say "baby?" As long as they sat on the couch, the girls could take turns holding Jackson. Sofia was really great holding him and was so happy to have him in her arms. For her age, Olivia was also very good with Jackson and kept kissing his forehead and pointing out his nose, hands, feet, belly, etc. She only had trouble when she would point out his eyes, but she only lightly pressed on his eyelid. I was surprised at how much both girls wanted to hold Jackson and admire him. He's such a sweet baby and so little - I can't even remember either of our girls being so small, but they were not all that long ago.
