On Halloween night we dressed our little ladybugs up and headed over to Sofia's friend Isabella's house to trick-or-treat, since our neighborhood is so small. One of my friends hosted a chili/trick-or-treat party and it would have been great fun to go with a big group of Sofia's friends, but she lives about 20 minutes away and we were worried that we might need to get home to put Olivia to bed, etc. Hopefully next year we can make it.
We started trick-or-treating around 6pm and Sofia and Isabella had a fantastic time! Sofia just couldn't get enough - she was having so much fun running from house to house and saying "Trick-or-Treat" and would finish with "Thank you. Happy Halloween" after she received her candy. She wanted to eat the candy immediately at the first few houses we visited, but after that she was in the swing of candy collection. The neighborhood was a good one too, and several houses were decorated for Halloween, with a few really well done. While the girls trick-or-treated and we walked behind them, Olivia was perfectly happy to be pushed in her stroller and soon fell asleep. It was a really fun night and Sofia had the best time!
Our little ladybug girl.....the apple on her forehead is from a window decorating set her Grandma gave her and made her a "super ladybug" or something....
