On Sunday 14 October, we went to pick out a pumpkin for Halloween. Sofia slept through most of the visit, but we think she had a good time!

Grandma Fryer's Visit

Sofia's Grandma and Grandpa Fryer visited from 28 September through 10 October, while CK was off to London and Paris for work. On October 4th Sofia went to Dr. Sepe for her 2 month doctor visit (although she was just turning 10 weeks old). She weighed in at 13.2 lbs and 241/2 inches! Then it was time for her four shots - which she survived with little crying and was a real trooper (better than her Mom!). Grandma Fryer spent a lot of time hanging out with Sofia and even tried to teach her to knit (I think she still needs a few more lessons).

Sofia started smiling at 7 weeks! One of her favorite places to 'talk' and smile at us is while she's on her changing table. We love to see her smile!

Labor Day Weekend

A few weeks late, but wanted to share our day trips from Labor Day Weekend. CK and I took Sofia to visit the Baron for the first time, out for a picnic at Manassas Battlefield, to Baltimore's Inner Harbor, and to her first Washington Nationals game with Paul and Andrea (Sofia slept through the entire game!)
